Our Mission:

The Children Come First program will provide a safe and loving Christian environment designed to enrich learning, cooperation and character development.

What we offer you:

  • Licensed child care
  • Loving, caring trained staff
  • Reasonable hourly or weekly rates
  • Open Monday – Friday
  • Located within walking distance from MSU
  • Age-appropriate equipment for Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development
  • Individualized infant care to accommodate your baby’s schedule
  • Class schedules to provide your preschooler with structure and diverse learning opportunities
  • Circle time
  • Well-equipped fenced playgrounds with plenty of room and a gym for indoor play on bad weather days

Hours to meet your needs: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

About our caregivers

All caregivers have current CPR, First Aid, and Food handler’s certifications. Each member of our staff completes an orientation program before starting to work. In addition they are required to receive 30 training hours each year.

What classroom will your child be in?

  •  Infants (3 months – 11 months)
  •  Toddlers (12 months –24 months)
  •  2 – 3 year olds
  •  3 – 4 year olds
  •  4 – 5 year olds

Class placement is dependent on age, developmental readiness and space available.

We provide a supplemental morning and afternoon snack.

Children should bring a sack lunch and drink. Infants and Toddlers have lunch at 11:00 a.m. Older children have lunch at 11:45 a.m.

Our after school program

Children Come First is also available to pick up grade school children from the following schools and is divided into three van routes as follows:

  •   West Foundation
  •   Cunningham, Fain
  •   Fowler,  Ben Milam

We provide a supplemental afternoon snack for After School Children.

What you need to enroll:

  • Complete enrollment packet
  • Current shot record & medical release
  • Payment for the enrollment fee and the first week of care

Please turn in your information at least one working day before your child will begin care.

Children Come First is a 4 Star Texas Rising Star Provider through Workforce Solutions Childcare.

We are also a Pilot Site for the United Way Race for the Stars Program.

At Children Come First parents are always welcome. We know how important your child is and we want you to know that your child is having a wonderful time.

If your child is in our center you are more than welcome to stop by for a visit. If you are just thinking about using our center, we would love for you and your child to come take a look around.

You may stop by at any time. If you would like to call ahead we are happy to answer your questions or set up a time to give you a tour.
